We have a range of classes to suit all levels and abilities. Why not come along and see how our trained instructors can help you achieve your goals while motivating you every step of the way. Classes are included in Gym Membership (availble from just £29 per month), although non members can take part in classes for just £5 per class.

Boxercise

An exciting combination of boxing moves using gloves and pads, and circuit based training to improve fitness, burn calories and tone up & de-stress!

 

Bikini Bootcamp

BIKINI BOOTCAMP returns! It’ll be an hour of fat burning circuit based training involving kettle bells, medicine balls, army backpacks, car tyres and much more! So if the thought of digging out last years’ bikini sends shivers down your spine, get yourself down to Bikini Bootcamp! War paint optional.

 

Legs, Bums & Tums

Every lady’s favourite class to tone and shape those problem areas, you know what we mean!

 

NEW Pilates

We are pleased to be offering for the first time a six week course, guiding you through the fundamentals of pilates mat-work exercises.

This course will aim to teach you the Pilates Principles which are;

Breathing – drawing together body and mind

Centering – controlling all your movements from your core

Relaxation – releasing tension and allowing freedom of movement

Quality – learning correct alignment of the body

Flowing Movement – Performing exercises in a continuous way

Awareness – learning your own bodys strengths and weaknesses

Stamina – Increasing strength and skill

These classes are for everyone irrespective of fitness and skills!

Due to the progressive nature of Pilates, classes will be run on a course basis only and must be booked in advance at reception (max 12 people per class). A 6 week course open to all is available at just £36 for non members and £30 for members (that’s £45 less than our nearest Pilates competitor)!

20/20/20

A mixed class including 20 minutes of aerobics, 20 minutes of body conditioning and 20 minutes of abdominal exercises. 20/20/20 will give you an all over cardio and toning workout!

 

Body Blast

The ultimate circuit class designed to push you to your limits. An excellent cardio and fitness based class with some boxing thrown in.

 

Ab Attack

Ab Attack is a high energy class focusing on fat burn through cardio and original ab exercises. This class will help tone and define your abdominals using challenging mat based exercises.

 

Step Circuit

This class will push your entire body utilising cardiovascular and toning based exercises. One Hour…One Step…One Hell of a Workout! 

 

Krav Maga

Krav Maga training is also held at Challenge Active. Krav Maga is a self defence based martial art. You will learn to defend against kicks, punches, grabs, holds, knife threats, attacks with clubs, guns, knives, bottles and much more. It is not included in gym membership, however your first class is free and gym members receive membership to Krav Maga at half price (£14.50 per month)!
